About the Role
Join a development team working on ION Trading-related solutions. You will design and build complex backend components, collaborate with other engineers, and contribute to reliable delivery through testing and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
4+ years of demonstrated experience designing and coding complex backend software in Java.
Thorough understanding of multithreading, design patterns, data structures, service-oriented architectures, object-oriented programming, and algorithms.
Experience with test-driven development, including unit and acceptance/end-to-end testing.
DevOps and CI/CD experience.
Experience with source code control systems and best practices (Git, Bitbucket).
Nice to Have
Spring Framework experience.
Comfortable working with APIs.
Additional programming languages: Python; scripting (TCL, JavaScript).
Strong database knowledge, including SQL.
Agile frameworks (Scrum) and Jira.
Messaging frameworks (JMS, Kafka).
Experience in banking/financial environments and/or trading platforms.
Strong teamwork skills; ability to work under pressure.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to assess priorities and self-organize tasks to meet deadlines.
